I encourage your creativity and determination in generating political will that demands lasting solutions to conflicts, instead of military intervention which costs billions of dollars, breeds corruption, and directs resources toward death and destruction.
To those who fear that acts of terrorism may be perpetrated by people who appear different from you:
I encourage you to focus attention on passing legislation that will limit the possibility that guns end up in the wrong hands at public gatherings and in homes.
