Van hits car near Greenville park

GREENVILLE – A van with several children was involved in a minor crash near the city park in Greenville just before 1 p.m. Monday.

According to the Greenville Police Department, a red Buick sedan pulled out from a stop sign at Park Avenue in to the path of an Chrysler minivan on North Broadway. The van, containing several young children, struck the sedan.

A juvenile from the Chrysler was transported to Wayne HealthCare to be checked out for minor injuries. No other individuals involved reported any injuries. The male driver of the Buick was cited for Failure to Yield.
