Moose supports Shrine Hospitals

GREENVILLE – The Greenville Moose Lodge recently continued its support of Shrine Hospitals for Children with a $5,000 donation. According to Steve Marshall, administrator, the lodge has been a longtime supporter of the work the Shriners perform for children facing orthopaedic, cleft lip and palate issues, spinal cord injuries and burns. The Darke County Shrine Club has several local children they transport regularly to the Shrine Hospital in Lexington, Ky. and the Shriner’s Burns Hospital in Cincinnati.

On-hand for the check presentation to the Shrine Hospitals for Children were (l-r) Keith Hocker, secretary/treasurer Darke County Shrine Club (DCSC); Don Mansfield, Moose trustee; Tom Whitton, DCSC; David Orrison, vice-president DCSC; Bob Anthony, DCSC; Bob Cox, Moose past past governor; Steve Marshall, Moose administrator; Gene Schultz, past president DCSC; and Phil Ayette, Moose Jr. Governor.
